(MDF, timber, 9 x turntables, 9 x records (Beethoven 9th), speakers, galvanized iron, enamel paint, turned wooden handle)

Seven copies of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony play simultaneously from a furniture-object that mimics the appearance of high-culture artefacts, like pianos. The logic of serialised repetition in this case results in a mass density of orchestral sound. Rather than unified and unifying though, in this instance music as a product of idealism is returned to its origins in barbarous noise.
