This work was produced for the inaugural exhibition of ‘Marrickville Garage’, a gallery space in the guise of a converted garage in Sydney’s inner-West, for which all works had to fit within the dimensions 20x20cm.  Premonition is a positive cast of the existing brick wall, which it symbolically doubles, preempting the very particular material and architectural circumstances of the space and how these might affect work executed there in the future.
